Aloha Friday Challenge #69 - Living Things with Wings

Time for another challenge over at Aloha Friday Challenge Blog

The image I have used for this project is called "Smart Owl"
I just love this image so much, isn't he just so adorable? I had so much fun colouring him.
I used Lyra Pencils and Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to colour the image. To finish off the image I used some glossy accent for his glasses.

For the background I used some Tim Holtz ink with ink daubers, lather them up with ink,  in circle motions spread the ink all over the paper. The paper I have used for the background is watercolour paper. However I think this would look better on a smoother paper.
